The puffs can be the chemise pulled through, or a fake chemise sleeve tacked inside so it does not shift. You are doing Ren Faire, so the "look" is improtant. If you don't want to be pulling on your sleeves all day, go for the fake inner sleeve. Monica

However, in cosideration of how the layers go onto the body: Chemise, corset and farthingale, then bodice/sleeves/skirts... where do the puffs come from in the bodice? Are they false puffs? If they are false, it would be interesting to make them interchangeable so I can change the colors/look of the dress. Also, if they are false puffs, I may consider doing the same to the shoulder roll and sleeve puffs. Thanks in advance! Just for refresher, my gown is based on Eleanor of Toledo, but here is the actual design: http://www.fantasy-sewing.com/images/dressconcept.jpg Natalie _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list h-costume@mail.indra.com http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list h-costume@mail.indra.com http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
