I totally sympathize. Our area has lost all the independent vendors of fabric and needlework. We are now limited to whatever is carried by Wal-Mart or JoAnn's.
As a result, several of my friends and I (all of us serious needlework addicts) get together about every three months and do a shop hop to either Columbus or Cleveland or up to Amish Country. One of these years we are going to get really serious and join a Red Hat shop hop to New York City and the garment district. The last time I was there I was seriously hampered by the presence of my other half who refused to let me buy another suitcase to carry fabric home in. Can you believe it! If they are having a going out of business sale, you'd better stock up! --- Tania Gruning <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The last decent embroidery store in copenhagen is > closing. > 16'th of may is last day for the Broderi Antik, > now where am i going to find stuff for embroidery > other than the internet.
