Fran's books cover 1877-1882; ************************** Wow...ESP...OOOOoooooOOOOooooOOOO... When I 1st read your pattern problems, I thought "She's making a bustle gown.". Some advice....even though I haven't seen the patterns your working with. If its the draped skirts that are confusing you, it's sometimes better to glance at the overall pattern piece, and just drape it up yourself to get the look you want. Just take a piece of muslin and play with it. It's very helpful because sometimes it's like tying your shoe: It easier to do than to describe. It's very instructive just taking like a straight length, gathering one end and pining it to the dummy and pulling it up here and there to see how it acts. It can be fun too. _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
