So the question is - Any ideas for cheap, easy to
apply replacements for the boas?
IIRC the boa lengths were pretty cheap at Joann's ($5-10?), and they
could get several helmets covered with one length.
However, there are places that sell plastic costume helmets pretty cheap
too, for example this is $4.50:

I suspect they only need a few, surely they can scrounge up $5 a person
and replace the baseball helmets.
