As for the outfit, it seems to lean towards Mongolian closer to a Barga or
Buryat(sp?) woman's winter outfit or a Bayad woman's outfit. But I have not
seen any men's with the opening up the center but I am not an expert and so
have not seen all garments pertaining to Mongolia. There may be some

Another view of the same costume. It looks like something the Mongol
soldiers would wear. The hat however looks to be from some other period ...
Hollywood borrows from everywhere creatively at least. :)
