Seaquins and spangels are the same. Its round flat metal cirkles with a hole in the middle. Most were made of silver and gold, in 18th century they started to make colloured ones made by silver foil wich was vernished in collours. There also was other shaped ones, wich they called paillons in france. They could have more holes to stitch it to the surface with.
