Thank you for all the suggestions, folks! Wow, I knew I'd come to the
right place! :-)

Regarding turbans--what size of cloth do you need? What would have been
used for turbans? And how do you wrap them?

Our GFD's are designed for cooler weather--the fall/winter gigs. Most of
the group is in wool. Because I'm allergic to wool, mine is a heavy
cotton twill lined with linen.
