I have a bone to pick with the stuff. Many years back as a DJ I was working a wedding. I start to hear a slight hiss- hiss noise and think, oh, great, speaker or amp problem just when I don't need it.
I check my equipment settings, faders, mic levels, lines, all those other tech things. Nothing amiss. I check my cables, all okay. I go to one speaker. Nothing wrong. The other speaker, nothing wrong. Stand back, nothing seems wrong but still the damned hiss.
