Did Philadelphia have a fashion district in the 19th Century into 1905? If
so where was it? Does one still exist? I know that a couple fashion
publications were out of Philly. Also they were the largest producers of
baby caps in the U.S. during the 1890s. I am running across several
manufacturers in the area in 1905.
I am putting all these listings from the jobber's manual into an Excel
spreadsheet. I am hoping to breakdown this book by state and city with the
software when finished. BTW, I am now west of the Mississippi now. I have
a couple of listings from Iowa!!!
