When my Great Aunt passed over in 1999 I inherited all
her stash and sewing stuff. (I know!! Lucky me!) In
there were several shirtwaist type dresses which
appeared to be in the style of the 60's which had been
cut and marked in a similar manner. Since I wanted to
reuse the fabric I just tossed it in the washer with
cool water and it came out just fine.

If the marks don't come out or aren't going to be
hidden in the darts or seams perhaps you could cover
them with embroidery or fabric paint.

The only twelve steps I'm interested in are the ones between the flat folds and
the brocades. --Anonymous Costumer--
