I've just finished two silk corsets, one 1876 and one from the beginning of the 17th century, a reproduction of the Dorothea corset:

The straps of the Dorothea corset are a real pain, next time I make tie-on straps. I didn't make any tabs, because I just couldn't figure out how to attach them to the corset to make it look good from the outside as well as inside. I just didn't know how to continue with the bias binding there.
