Well, I am not allowed to get a dummy until I get the sewing room fixed (see previous issues about sewing rooms).
My couch has parts of a linen kirtle for my 16th c. Irish stuff. My new bodice is languishing in a canvas tote bags (I use them instead of grocery bags, they last longer) I have a bunch of felt hats that are supposed to grow up to be silly Irish hats when my boss has time to help me steam them And I need a new Irish dress but the fabric shrank too much and is only enough for a big skirt now. Some of that stuff needs to be done by Oct. 11th, to go to Great Western War and then to the Marching Through History military timeline my group is doing the same weekend. I also have to make a jerkin for my Chief, a new suit for my partner who only has one pair of pants that fit after losing 100lbs and a ballgown before February. I am a slug and am talking to you folks instead of sewing. Wonder if I'll make it? Regina in L.A. PS - Anyone going to Great Western War October 11th? I will be there shopping and checking my Honey's archery friends. _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
