Thanks!  That is pretty much what I was thinking of doing but then read that
this could cause the straw to shrink.  I had no idea straw could shrink so I
started getting a little nervous since this hat is already on the small
side.  After reading the responses though, I think the hat is going to get a
good dunking tomorrow.  =)
