It's also possible to make a transparency of the pattern page, then put it on an "overhead projector" and project it on to paper or a sheet on the wall. Enlarge it to the actual size you need and trace onto the paper/sheet. I've never actually done this, but if you have access to the tools, it seems to be a good solution.
