IKEA has nice, inexpensive drapes and you don't have to make them! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kimiko Small Sent: Wednesday, September 02, 2009 1:58 PM To: Historical Costume Subject: Re: [h-cost] What's your dressmaker's dummy wearing today?
My dress dummy would be wearing the watchet blue silk loose gown that I am slowly working on finishing. Just need to do the last of the trims, and lots of closures for the center front from neck to floor. My brain is working on various things, from 1480s Florentine, to a grande Henrician Gown, to making up Jedi clothing for the kids/Halloween. And reality says that I need to get kitchen drapes finished before it gets cold.
