Really! That's interesting. I've seen dozens.... but they are all kinda early. The seam gets sewn up I'd say (guess really) by the 1860's.... and by the 1880's you have combos... a bodice part and the legs part in one. But I'm no expert on this subject. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yup -- one pair, and clearly worn by a child (and very heavily mended). This family kept everything, so... why no drawers from this period?
