The costume was held up for a week and arrived after the National costume pics (Sept 7) were done. So far I have not found the reason behind the customs issue but it is believed that because of the lack of national costume pic. she lost points. To say the least, many folks in India are ticked and want to know why as well. Of coarse there is the rumor that Brazil thought Miss India a threat and thus sabotaged her chance to at least make it into the 16.
