I assume you mean 11gR2 (11.2.0.2 in particular) RAC here? If so, it is
not supported yet for precisely the reasons you are seeing. There are
patches required and then QA work to be done before it could possibly be
supported. I make no guarantees about if or when that might happen, or
what version of Solaris Cluster it might or might not require.
It would be up to you if you wanted to pursue the other option. I don't
know how much functionality you might lose in your particular
environment by doing this.

One of the prereqs for upgrading Oracle db version to 11.2.0.2 is to configure /test multicast on private interconnect. We are having problems with clprivnet interconnect link aggregation managed by Sun cluster. As a result unable to proceed.
Anyone has upgraded to 11.2.0.2 with solaris 10 update 6 and sun cluster 3.2
update 2?
The other option would be to remove Sun Cluster and use oracle 11.2.0.2 version
or ACFS general file system and HAIP for managing redundancy in private ips.
Any comments on this approach?
