Thanks Tim. If clprivnet is the issue, is it possible to use the actual interfaces for multicasting and change oracle private ip to that interfaces. Can we configure both private interfaces for multicasting ? Giving the following command to to setup multicast on 224.. ip
/usr/sbin/route -n add -interface 224.0/4 -gateway "<private ip_address>" Is it possible to setup the above command for 2 different ip? Will oracle 11.2.0.2 version do the failover or load balance if we use this approach. However Doc id Doc ID 1210883.1 has info which says haip is disabled if using sun cluster. In the above scenario, is it a workaround to install 11.2.0.2 with sun cluster?
