Hokay, so...

I was pounding out some ideas with Matt, Andrew, Chris, and Ali and
this is what we came up with:

1) decouple content types from output options. so instead of "Post"
and "Page" content types, we just have one all-purpose "General"
content type. Other content types can be implemented later such as
"Poll", "Video", whatever.

2) On the "Settings" for each new content type an option would be
added "Is page". By default, this option would be un-checked. That
means that each new entry added shows up in the blog-chronology. If a
user chooses the "is page" option, it is removed from the chronology.
This is commonly known as a "Page".

So what does this mean? It means that if you want a new Poll, you can
choose to have it mixed in with your blog entries, or you can have it
stand-alone. Or any other content type. Currently, when you want a
Page, you just get "text". You don't get any of the options you get
with a content type.

Basically, then, you can have any content within or outside the
chronological list of traditional blog posts.

This is a subset of what I had proposed in #417. Basically, the first
half. Discussing with the gents, they didn't feel that the user-base
would be comfortable going all the way with other ways to output
content (in sections defined by the theme).
