On Redhat, you can choose "Install Everything". Do you mean that "Install
Everything" installs everything but zsh? Weird... I never noticed that.
And I use zsh all the time.

Xfig *does* come with Redhat (I just checked in Redhat 8, for example).
Redhat stopped supplying xv because it's not free. They ship other graphic
viewers instead, but I still prefer xv. To get xv I suggest you look for
the Redhat 6.2 powertools' "xv" rpm in rpmfind.net.

Another thing that got "broken" in Redhat 8 and later is that xmms no
longer plays mp3 (because of patent issues). You'll need to install your
own if you want to play mp3s. (not that servers are typically used for
playing mp3s or viewing graphics...)

The xv and mp3 issue probably applies to other distributions too (but I
didn't check).
