Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't the Technion have a firewall that doesn't let you send mail (port 25) to any computer in the technion except mrelay? Was vipe somehow exempt from this firewall? > for vipe, and so some MTAs may refuse to transfer mail to vipe, since > reverse lookups will point to another name. My own domain has this issue, and I don't recall someone ever complaining to me that they can't email me because of this reason. Even "yahoo.com" has this issue, by the way, so it's not like Haifux is going to be alone in this. -- Nadav Har'El | Sunday, Aug 10 2003, 12 Av 5763 [EMAIL PROTECTED] |----------------------------------------- Phone: +972-53-245868, ICQ 13349191 |If Barbie is so popular, why do you have http://nadav.harel.org.il |to buy her friends? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Haifa Linux Club Mailing List (http://www.haifux.org) To unsub send an empty message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
