How about:
First hour: What is SNMP, how does it work , typical usages, mibs etc. - technical
Second hour: What can OpenNMS do for large system administrators.
I want to use this lecture as an opportunity to "promote" OpenNMS among NMS guys and
system administrators - nothing commercial, just people from the OpenNMS mailing list
who want to hear more, so I expect some people with SNMP background will attend.
Is it OK?

From page 84 on, it gets technical and more interesting. Upto that point,
it is all about configuarion and installation. On page 108 (out of 109),
we are begin offered to pay several thousands of dollars for support.
I would be interested indeed to hear a lecture which covers SNMP, covering
various methods for monitoring networks, and then brings examples from
openNMS. However, I agree with guy that showing what it can do (or showing
its exact configuration, installation, and user interface) is not very
interesting.
