In short, they recommend to disable (blacklist) the native Linux driver to use the Windows one (through ndiswrapper) instead. Also note they tell that the driver available on the CD coming with the card is not working and that you have to download it from here instead: http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/D102843.asp Then, after some reboot and module loading (just put it in /etc/modules), NetworkManager should see and allow you to use it normally.
