Hi J.C. et all, This way is not helpful for me. I even also tried to use its driver for WinXP from manufacturer.
Anyone also has good ideas? Note that it's a built-in card. As usual, we can find some detailed documentation on the French Ubuntu community's website: http://wiki.ubuntu-fr.org/wifi_realtek_rtl8187 In short, they recommend to disable (blacklist) the native Linux driver to use the Windows one (through ndiswrapper) instead. Also note they tell that the driver available on the CD coming with the card is not working and that you have to download it from here instead: http://kbserver.netgear.com/release_notes/D102843.asp Then, after some reboot and module loading (just put it in /etc/modules), NetworkManager should see and allow you to use it normally. Well... At least that's what they say... ;-) Hope this help, cheers, J.C. -- Jean Christophe "????" ANDR? ? ? ?
