Dear all, I've probably screwed up something. I don't know exactly how or when, but probably it happened when I re-sized my partitions - less for root and more for home.
Anyway, now when I start up Ubuntu I first come to the new sexy start-up screen in Jaunty but after some seconds it starts "reading files needed to boot..." and list them all over the screen like in "safe mode" until it arrives at the login window when everything is back to normal. I cannot find any problems while working inside Ubuntu so it is not serious in that sense. However, it is very annoying when you want to show off your nice Ubuntu installation to friends and booting up looks like in the old DOS days or even worse almost like the famous blue screen in M$. It has never happened to me before so is there a remedy other than to re-install from scratch? Thanks / Lars
