The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Folks, I'm actually at a loss for words about how to tease tonight's show...If you
haven't been planning on sending the kids to bed early, making a great meal, sitting
down in front of the tube, throwing a pot of coffee on and staying up all night then
you're reading the wrong briefing and I've taught you nothing...It simply doesn't get
any better than this...
Btw, if you saw Chris last night (and a number of you have already been e-mailing me
about his colloquy with Donahue last night...How about that chest pounding thing??)
you know he's on fire and so is Caddell...
I needn't remind you that Chris is honcho-ing (ok, I'll stop using that term for a
while) tonight's coverage from 7 pm et until the "last dog dies"...Hard numbers
regularly, fast paced, fun, informative, with a huge dollop of spice and
unpredictability...
Last night was a mere tease with the panel (Caddell, Noonan, Brazile & Fineman) and
correspondents...We've got NBC talent stationed strategically placed in the hottest
races coast to coast...We'll go to them regularly and Lester will report the latest
results from all the races...Norah will be handling exit polling data...
We'll also talk to Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, John McCain, Katherine Harris,
Lindsay Graham, Rahm and a panoply (dare I say plethora) of other elected officials to
get reax throughtout the night on the "icy crackle of victory or defeat" as Chris said
during our practice run...
AND MAKE SURE THAT YOU'RE VOTING TODAY TOO...IT'S YOUR AMERICAN RIGHT & OBLIGATION....
Hey dig this...Chris' book is burning up the charts on Amazon...Last I checked it was
in the top ten list!!
