            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball Briefing reader/Gulf War hero Norman Schwarzkopf leads the show
tonight...Does the diplomatic delay at the U.N. put American lives at risk in the
field? Plus, what can our troops expect when the hostilities begin? We'll also show
you some of that amazing B-Roll of the MOAB bomb...Yeah, the big one! We'll ask
Stormin' Norman that and many other questions you would too if you hosted this
show...We may even ask him about a possible "decapitation model" in Iraq (I'm not
quite sure what that is but Biden used the term last year on the show and it sounded
kinda cool)...I think you'll enjoy it...I read somewhere years ago that Schwarzkopf is
a big fan of mint chocolate chip ice cream but we won't get into that tonight...

In the B/C blocks we've got none other that Arizona Senator John McCain...He's another
one of the those "cool dude at the office water cooler" types...We'll talk to him
about his NYT piece: The Right War for the Right Reasons
http://www.nytimes.com/2003/03/12/opinion/12MCCA.html

In the D block, Eric Margolis, writer for The American Conservative (Pat's mag) and
author of "War at the Top of the World: The Struggle for Afghanistan, Kashmir and
Tibet." will debate Dick Armey on the cost and duration of a post Iraq occupation...

And don't forget to hang around for the last quarter hour, my favorite little pet
project of the day: The Political Buzz...Katrina and Tony will do the Blair/political
stuff, Bill Clinton speaks out on Iraq and "The Hammer" slams "neo-appeasers" who
oppose the war...Oh, wait until you see our Clinton/"Bloodlines" bite, it's great...He
takes a shot at Bush...I'm putting it in the "must cut" sot file!

Housekeeping item...
