Feeling pain at the pump? Tonight we get into the politics of rising gas
prices and our Middle East policy with respect to the "black gold" with a key
foreign policy advisor to Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Adel
Al-Jubeir....Yeah, it's that guy...We'll lead with a David Shuster piece on the
capture of that ugly looking top Al-Qaeda dude too...We'll probably throw a
question or two to Adel about what it all means for the GWOT...

We'll probably throw in a couple of congressional types for good measure, i.e
Mike Rogers (R-MI) & Ed Markey (D-MA) to see how our folks in Congress are
handling the issue.

Our political roundtable will be none other than Carlson & Carlson: Tucker &
Margaret on a veritable pastiche of topical news items...I'll give them both a
jingle soon and see what they are ticked off about today...

Update: Tucker's fired up about this piece: When Columnists Cry 'Jihad'
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/05/03/AR2005050301277.html

We'll get into the Tillman story somewhere or another as well..

Plus, a new controversial book says...Detainee Questioning Was Faked, Book
Says...U.S. Military Denies Staging Interviews
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/04/28/AR2005042801639_pf.html
We'll talk to the book's author, fmr. Army Sgt. Erik Saar.

Finallyy, The New York Times' Johnny Apple stops by to chat about his new book
"Apple's America: The Discriminating Traveler's Guide to 40 Great Cities in the
United States and Canada"...The guy knows all the good stuff: food, travel and
politics! We'll dabble in a little bit of each.
