            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball Plaza returns tonight and it's hotter than a summer's night in
Washington! We'll take to the streets of Washington, D.C. and Chris will
interview conservative firebrand Ann Coulter, author of "Godless: The Church of
Liberalism."

Can Republicans hold onto the Senate in this year's midterm elections? In a
rare television interview, we'll ask Senator Elizabeth Dole (R-NC), Chairwoman
of the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

And for more on 2006 prospects for Democrats and Republicans, we'll turn to the
hottest political reporters: A.B. Stoddard from The Hill, Chuck Todd from the
Hotline, and Lynn Sweet from the Chicago Sun Times.

For the latest on the Middle East crisis, we'll have live reports from MSNBC's
Tucker Carlson in Cyprus and NBC's Richard Engel in Tyre, Lebanon.

On Monday, Hardball will be live at 5 and 7pm from Rockefeller Center on the
set of the Today Show!

And last but certainly not least, congratulations to our legendary Executive
Producer Tammy Haddad, who has been promoted to MSNBC's Vice President for
Washington!
