            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
Tonight, Hollywood's leading man Ben Affleck plays Hardball! The Oscar-winning
actor makes his directorial debut this fall in "Gone, Baby, Gone," but he's
also a devout political activist who pounded the pavement with Sen. John Kerry
(D-MA) in '04. (And when I say devout, I mean it. Your briefer ran into
Affleck on the campaign trail with Kerry in Scranton, PA. Yes, that Scranton.)

His buddy actor Matt Damon announced - on Hardball - that he's an Obama man.
Which candidate will Affleck back this time around? And after his experiences
in '04, does he think celebrity endorsements help or hurt campaigns? Plus, Ben
answers your online questions about politics, Iraq, going green, and more.

Then, former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AK) on why he's still a major contender in
the race for '08. And tonight's Hardball Debate: Immigration - Last Chance for
a Change? Reps. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) and Brian Billbray (R-CA), chair of the
Immigration Reform Caucus, put on the gloves for a hot debate. Plus, a slice
and dice of all today's hot topics with the Hardball Panel: Ezra Klein of the
American Prospect and former Schwarzenegger spokesperson Karen Hanretty. Check
out Hanretty's latest blog posting: "Jeri Thompson is a Hottie. Deal with it."

Earlier today, Chris spent some time with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) at
his old stomping grounds on Capitol Hill - a remote shoot that turned into a
behind-the-scenes tour for the Hardball field team. Find out what happened at
www.hardblogger.msnbc.com and watch the exclusive interview tomorrow, only on
Hardball, only on MSNBC.
