Actually, I wasn't thinking in terms of modifying the source. My thought was that an event was not being dispatched properly, which could cause an attempt to hide the window to fail. If this is the case, there could be an issue (not necessarily a bug) with the event dispatch loop in wine.



I should add that there are a lot of other possibilities, like Z- order issues. At any rate, my hunch is that something unexpected is happening with the event dispatch loop.
