^%ZOSV and ^%ZOSV2 are on the FOIA. Patch XU*8*275, a KERNEL patch, modifies
these routines for GT.M. We have no problems with MSC fileman, it works
fine.

GT.M versions of %ZOSV and %ZOSV2, like the other %Z* routines FileMan needs

(%ZIS*, etc) are included in the FOIA release from DVA. Surely they're also

available thru WorldVistA?

Hi George,
I wasn't trying to make a distinction between VA Fileman and MSC Fileman.
The problem is
that the new version(s) requires routine ^%ZOSV (and possibly other
utilities?) but does
not provide a version of it for GT.M.

We have standalone Fileman 21 in the VMTH and I upgraded a development
system to MSC
Fileman primarily to experiment with use of the DBS API's and one of our
programmers then
encountered errors in running "classic" Fileman for data dictionary
maintenance. I am out
on vacation and have not had time yet to look into it further or fix it.
