Fair enough. For various reasons, this is an issue I particularly care
about and what I found most bothersome was the apparently dismissive
attitude toward issues of accessibility. At least one way of reading
the discussion was that accessibility was simply being used as a wedge
to drive people away from open source. My attitude is that IF open
source falls short in this area, the problem should be fixed. And I
know this is no excuse, but I was not having the best of days
yesterday.

That being said, I'm encouraged by what I've heard about Ubuntu. Right
at the moment, I don't have much of a desire to invest in a Linux box,
but the more I hear, the more I think Ubuntu is the distribution I'd
look at adopting.
