Sure if you want to fry a sensitive component. It relies on a split tip & pass power THROUGH whatever you are soldering to heat it.Real bullshit, wonder who invented that winner of an idea?

You want fast & cordless, pay the $50 and buy a Wahl ISO Tip. You won't be able to drop it in your pocket for 15 seconds, but it won't accidentally pass juice through that sensitive part!
