Note that the power utility that comes with the APC UPSes says that I am drawing up to 250 watts when the CPU is under load. So maybe the Greg was pulling more than he thought? That sux. I have an Antec Tru 480 sittng here on the floor as my backup supply. Bought it after reading here and other places that they were OK, and that Enermax had gone downhill somewhat. Luckily the older Enermax in the tower is still going strong for now.
