No, this was not a copy protected DVD - I wanted to burn an Image of the C
drive that I created with Acronis True Image.

The two DVD's I got the errors on were Verbatim 8X media.

I later burned both sets of files on Taiyo Yuden 16X Media at 16X and got no
errors.

Now if this was Memorex or K-media or some such, then I would suspect the
media. But I always considered Verbatim to be a premium class product -
guess I will verify all writes for the next 20 burns or so.

Any other areas I should be looking at?
Thanks,
Bob Somrak

it coudl be that your DVD is copy protected, if so you'll want to use
something like anyDVD to remove those copy protections or dump a copy of the
files to the HDD via dvdDecrypter (video).

Copied an image file (hard drive backup) and 10 par2 files to a DVD using
Nero. (Actually burned the DVD not copied)

Nero reported about a dozen errors for the copy of 4.3 gb. Total Commander
also reported from 0 to 6 errors per file when doing a compare.

What would cause this to happen, where should I start looking?

Thanks
