Sony has one unique advantage as well.. PS3 will support both BlueRay as
well as PS2 & PS1 titles. X360 will host exclusive titles, and as of right
now, is not backward compatible.

The Xbox is a great product, but right now it makes up 18% of the overall
marketshare vs. Sony which has slightly over 50%. That's just fact as of
right now. And Sony's marketing methods within the international market as
well as it's royalty system have been very lucrative to it's partners, far
more so then MS..

I think MS has a great product in the XBOX360. But I think Sony is smart to
start pushing and showing off the PS3, allowing them to say "keep all your
software, keep all your titles, add tons of features.." Sony's linkup with
any broadband service is also a perk compared to MS's system. I am
convinced MS will pick up their marketshare as of current and they will grow
it. At the same time, I believe Sony will be very effective in holding onto
their base.

First isn't always best. Ask the Dreamcast. And the Fight Night,
Unreal 3 and all the internal tech demos were all running live, in
real time on the Cell plus GPU. May have been 6800 Ultra SLI rather
than RSX though. There was a guy over at Quatertothree.com who talked
a little bit about development he's involved with on the PS3. They've
been writing code for the Cell for about a year.

A lot of the Xbox demos were prerenderes too, though. Sony's just
looked better when they fibbed! The Motor Storm and Killzone 2 demos
looked absolutely sick, and the Square demo of the FFVII intro look
fantastic too. Kinda put the FFXI+ demo they gave MS to shame.
