This stuff is on it's way to my door step today via newegg.

It isn't clear here but that includes 2 PCI-E ALBATRON PC6600GT(s) I'm hoping that running SLI will give me just about all the eye candy in Doom3, HL2, FEAR and some of the other newer games that I have yet to get that looks appealing. Does anyone concur? Will I get close?

I got the Albatron 6600GT looked like a good deal at a final price of $124
Original Price: $149.00

IINM, the AGP versions should all have power connectors as non-AGP Pro slots can't supply enough power
(PCI-E slots can supply up to 72W).

My Chaintech 6600GT (admittedly PCI-E) works dandy just pulling power from the slot.

As far as Quake 4 goes, I've noticed that the fps gets a little poky (just enough to make moving the view around not smooth). Thankfully, doesn't happen all that often. Running the 6600GT stock on a A64 3700+
ClawHammer (@ 2.6GHz) with the graphics set to 1024x768 high-quality, no-AA.
