Just finished building a new machine. Asrock 939Dual MB with Athlon 64.
Everytime I try to open GPEDIT.MSC, I get an error message stating: Snap-In
failed to initiate; Name:Group Policy Object Editor;
CLSID:{8FC0B734-A0E1-11D1-A7D3-0000F87571E3}Can anyone make sense of this for me? When I try to go through Admin Tools and click on LOCAL SECURITY POLICY, I get the same error. I've been removing programs one by one, without success. I did install all the ULi drivers, though don't think that would make much if a difference. Also have TweakUI installed, although nothing has been tweaked. Running Kaspersky AV and Giant AntiSpam software along with AdMunch. Any advice is greatful. Thanks. -Rich
