It currently looks like the 2407 doesn't support 1080i from DVI input, so no, you won't be able to run HD from the DVI output of a cable box. However, if the cable box supports HD output on the component outs, then you will be able to do this.
COX cable digital box = OUT = DVI, S Video, composite, and COAX so I guess it isn't going to work
It will support HD from your computer output over DVI perfectly,
so once HD PC cards or external devices, that support cable are common, it would work
The 2407 will "handle" HD output from your cable box just the same way your CRTs do now--over analog only.
Which is to say.... no HD right? If I tell COX to turn HD on and then I output from the cable box to the IN jack of my AIW. I would see a analog conversion... it wouldn't be HD right. And there isn't anyway to capture HD .... is there. I'm still very confused about HD.
Are there still people who only use one monitor? :)
no kidding! I have been addicted since 96. I can't see how anybody gets anything done with a single monitor... and I don't care how big it is!
Yes, absolutely. You won't get a 24" WS panel for $800 anywhere else, period. I absolutely
Thanks Greg!
