I stared at the pix on the newegg page shared. I am confused. Where do these converters get plugged into? On the eide connector of a HD? And, what are all the extra pins (5?) in the plastic cover cutouts for? Foggy4Sure...... :)

loads of different branding on them. IT also seems that some places must be
making a killing on them as others can sell them for a fraction of the

The cheapest ones on Ebay are 9 bucks each including shipping while the Newegg ones are 13 and no shipping...so four bucks different but a lot better vendor, and a name brand product. And the Ebay ones are shipped direct from Hong Kong. But it is getting better. A year ago nobody had these for less then 25-30 dollars.
