thanks, makes sense, I would not of thought of deleting the mapped drives 
first. I wonder if could be used in autoexec.nt file on boot to force net 
logon. Like I said sometimes xp home can be a real pain and other times it logs 
on even if the workgroup is different.

I am still a work in progress for sure. :'(
