You can't go insane as I'm already there. <vbg> I too have my PC on the
desktop & love my ANtec Sonata 1 with it on a piece of foam under the
case & all the insulation that I have inside. While I'm sure that I could
make it quieter there is a point of diminishing returns of getting less
decibel control per $ spent & I belive I'm there.
