Agreed, we know NAV & MacAwful suck for over 5 years
now. Let's talk to the
"other" Symantec AV product that is most definitely
NOT norton SAV. I don't care
if you have to get a copy by nefarious means it's
better than any consumer level AV.
Sure the updates are large, welcome to 2008. They can
be downloaded & installed
manually also so having to do liveupdate is not the
only way. At least SAV
sticks to the core job of AV protection, without bloat
of a "security suite",
and does so without dumbing down the interface like
many consumer AV apps have
adopted.
