Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition (SAVCE) is now Symantec Enpoint Protection
(SEP).
It actually works as advertised, in that it takes us LESS memory footprint in
this current generation (v11) vs the last SAVCE (v10).
In the past, SEP's low-level filter driver causes some havoc on servers
runnining the most minute instances of SQL (even MSDE freebie), but apparently
the latest revision (v11.0.1000) has cleaned things up.
I havent touched the retail NAV product in close to 6 years, so I have no real
point of reference, but it was a pile of dogshit then so I can only imagine
