Well well, Newegg get's a +1 today. Seems they will
pay for shipping back & fro AND
issue a next day shipment when UPS shows the package
accepted at the UPS store.
Not that this was their initial offer mind you, but 2
emails later they agreed to
this much but declared "we not getting any returns on
these". Bunk I assume given how
widespread the problem seems to be going back more
than a few months.
Ah well, so I have to take it into Spokane on monday &
hope that means new card
before Wednesday. Of course I could just end up with
the next card on the pallet and
the same problem, sigh.
Sapphire on the other hand would not even make the
explicit statement that a
replacement card would not have the same issue even
when directly asked that question.
