full install is the only option, dead HD. Was just wanting to buy pro recovery disks instead of media center but using the sn from the laptop media center is my only choice to buy anyway. I have a Dell and a Compaq set of disks that I have used on more then one model and they work fine as long as is a dell or a compaq. I have even streamed sp2 into the dell disk with good luck.
Funny how customers never make recovery disks or even know where they are. Also when a business does not back up their data, I just do not understand. thanks fp At 01:58 AM 5/3/2008, j maccraw Poked the stick with: >Dunno but if their like compaq recovery disks, your >only choice is full re-install >and no just reinstalling some app from the bundle.
