It's a single RBC4 (i think that is the model) and it's a brand new
one from batterymart.com (thank you again HWG). I disconnected the
serial cable and will try to rule out software issues that way. I
wasn't sure if this could be a symptom of UPS failure or not. I sure
hope not, I love this unit. The software reports the battery has full
charge and everything is WNL, it does a self test daily and reports OK
