Hey guys, thoughts on this computer speaker set? I.e. are they good, what (if anything) is better-seems weird to ask, but I don't know that computer speaker tech has advanced that much in the 5 or so years I've had them.
Some of you may even have this set; it was rated the best for a while (well back in 2004 or so when I got my last PC), though there's apparently a dark side to them, (what with all the subwoofer problems) which I ran into recently too (well a few years back now I guess). So I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to get a replacement sub since there's apparently a good chance it too will have problems (and it's not that cheap and it's not like they're taking care of owners that had problems) or if I should get something else. It's just annoying b/c everything plugs into the sub and is kind of useless (the 5 other speakers and head unit) unless someone knows of a company that makes a replacement sub that's compatible with the Klipsch ones.I didn't find anything when I google for that tho. Thoughts? BINO
